My younger son, J, left last Monday for Army boot camp.So I haven't felt very much like posting any thing new since. I heard from him today when he called to tell me that he is doing okay. After five days, he is still in processing and hasn't been assigned a platoon yet. It was so nice to hear from him, he's my baby you know. My 18 year old baby. His goal is Ranger training, which will add a few weeks to his boot camp training. So we don't expect to see him until Thanksgiving time. J is so smart and just a nice easy going kid. I miss him.
I been keeping busy with working and caring for the dogs. We have people coming over tomorrow to see the two week old puppies. Which means the puppies will be getting baths so they smell nice when the get held up to faces. It also fluffs their fur up a bit to show off their curly hair. Their hair is only a quarter inch long at two weeks, but it is long enough to see the waves that show that they will have lots of curls as adults.
